Now let's catch some Good Housekeeping Routines
1. Treat your skin gently
Daily cleansing and shaving needs to take a break. Avoid doing so. Keep it gentle and carrying for skin. Avoid use of hot water while shower and limit your bath time. Make an habit of Mild cleansers instead hard soaps. Gently pat or blot your skin dry with towel, considering some moisture remains over skin. Once, skin is dry, use moisturizer that consists SPF.
2. Eat a Healthy Diet
Few researchs have suggested that a diet rich in fish oil or fish oil supplements; low in unhealthy fats; processed or refined carbohydrates might promote younger looking skin. Adding to the same, always drink plenty of water. As water is a major element to keep our skin feel hydrated.
3. Sweat it Out
Exercise regularly. Follow a routine of running, jogging and/or yoga to have proper blood circulation. Not just that, this accelerates the cleaning process of our entire body. You will notice a glow within few routines.
4. Goodbye to Acne & pollution
Wash your face with warm water before catching up for bed. Never ever skip this routine. An minimum of 3 times a day- face wash is expected. Gently massage the face in circular motion ensuring our above pat dry towel method. Feel a pimple on its way! Apply a rose water and place a chilled green tea bag for 10 minutes. Avoid touching on pimples and use makeup products or lotion lastly after application on through out face. To avoid spread of popping pimples all over face.
5. Use Glasses or Sunglasses?
Make sure you clean it everyday. Oil and dust stuck should be washed off frequently. This will avoid clogging of unwanted pores around eyes and nose especially.
6. Kick dryness at night
If you wake up with dry skin on morning, change your bedtime routine instead irregular morning schedules. Don't lazy yourself in applying lotion before bed at night.
7. Sweeping up Oil
Sweep up oil with a foaming face wash and a Sheet Mask to push hydration on skin.
8. Fighting with Hyperpigmentation during sun
Treat dark spots with antioxidants during day and apply topical retinoids to enhance cell turnover to shed pigments.
9. Going back to our Roots
Ayurvedic scrubs to nourish skin naturally and help breathe better. Some 2 tbsp of Chickpea flour, 1/2 tbsp honey, 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder, a pinch of sandalwood and rose water/milk or both or water can be your kitchen beauty pack. Also, scrub your lips for 5 minutes with sugar and honey mask.
10. Shaving, No Shaving
For constant smooth & lubricant skin, make use of lotion/gel or shaving cream before shaving. For the better shave, use a cleansed and sharp razor. Also, shave in the direction the hair grows, not against it.
11. Don't Smoke
Smoking makes skin look older and contributes to wrinkles. Smoking narrows the tiny blood vessels in the outermost layers of skin, which decreases blood flow and makes skin paler. This also depletes the skin of oxygen and nutrients that are important to skin health. Smoking also damages collagen and elastin — the fibers that give your skin strength and elasticity. In addition, the repetitive facial expressions you make when smoking — such as pursing your lips when inhaling and squinting your eyes to keep out smoke — can contribute to wrinkles. In addition, smoking increases your risk of squamous cell skin cancer. If you smoke, the best way to protect your skin is to quit. Ask your doctor for tips or treatments to help you stop smoking.
12. Manage Stress
Uncontrolled stress can make your skin more sensitive and trigger acne breakouts and other skin problems. To encourage healthy skin — and a healthy state of mind — take steps to manage your stress. Get enough sleep, set reasonable limits, scale back your to-do list and make time to do the things you enjoy. The results might be more dramatic than you expect.
Think that's going out of head now! Hahaha!! The last one - layering on multiple skincare products all at once is a big no-no, says Dr. Julia Tzu. It can be harsh on the skin, resulting in more breakouts and clogged pores. So, nothing more to stress you, saying Ta-Ta-Ta-Ta for skincare routines.
